When something goes wrong with your gas engine, you need to work with an automotive shop and engine repair company that you can trust. At Steve‘s Auto Repair & Tire, we trust Jasper Engines to go above and beyond, and make sure it‘s right, every time.
Jasper Engines is an engine re-manufacturer. That‘s an important distinction, as many of their competitors are engine rebuilders.
Is there a difference? Definitely.
When you have someone rebuilding an engine, they‘re going to disassemble the engine to find out why it failed, replace the specific parts that failed, and a few other areas like the valves and pistons, before sending it back.

But with Jasper engines, they completely take apart the entire engine, fully inspect it, and every wearable part is automatically discarded and replaced with new parts. Anything that isn‘t completely within Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specifications is replaced. So every gas engine that gets handed off to Jasper Engines comes back as an upgrade. This is because Jasper Engines will re-manufacture and fabricate an entirely new part for any component in the gas engine that isn‘t in great shape.
Not only does this get to the root of the problem with your engine, but it extends it‘s life and prevents future problems. Re-manufactured Jasper gas engines also come with a 3-year, 100,000 mile parts and labor warranty.
Jasper Engines has seen several problems in gas engines of various makes and models. As part of their commitment to giving their customers the best products, Jasper will actually work with parts manufacturers – both aftermarket and OEM – and get them to redesign the failing parts for the remanufacturing process.
One problem that occurs with some gas engines is an issue with excessive oil consumption. While a rebuilder or dealership may simply replace the part, Jasper Engines actually worked to redesign the piston that was causing the issue, to have more oil control and more strength than the OEM part. Another issue that occurs with gas engines are valve seats dropping out of the head, leading to engine failure, particularly with Chrysler engines. Instead of replacing the valve seats, they manufactured new seats for the engine that were oversized powdered metal, getting to the root of the problem.
That‘s a big part of what helps Jasper Engines stand out: they care about their customers and their cars, and go the extra mile to solve problems – and prevent them from happening again.
