The Goodyear Endurance Trailer Tire offers various perks for users. A higher speed rating is one of them.
“They raised the speed rating from where it used to be only 55 mile an hour and you can take it up to 87 miles per hour,” Steve’s Auto Repair & Tire owner Scott Whitling said.
Drivers who use a tire that’s rated for 55 miles per hour can cause the tire to overheat and the materials of the tire to wear down.
The trailer tire, according to Whitling, is able to carry 2,039 pounds.
“Just make sure you keep the maximum amount of tire pressure in the tire to keep that load rating,” Whitling said.
