Did You Forget Something? Safe Driving for Spring

In Tires and Wheelsby Steves Auto Repair and Tire

drivingSpring and summer mean increased driving time. Make sure to check the tread and inflation of your tires.  That means your spare tire too!  There is nothing worse than finding out all too late that your spare tire is also flat!
Your owner’s manual will tell you the exact recommended mileage for your spare tire.  As a general rule, these tires are not meant to be driven on for more than 70 miles.  Get all of your family’s spare tires examined, repaired or replaced as soon as possible to avoid a blow out like the one pictured here. ~Safe Travels!
