Air Conditioning Service and Repair

In summer months the inside of a vehicle sitting in the sun can get up to a temperature of 120°F or more. To keep yourself and your passengers comfortable during the hottest weather is dependent on proper care and maintenance of your vehicle's A/C system.
The air conditioning system works a bit differently than you would think. It removes heat and moisture from the inside of your car and then transfers the heat to the outside air. What is left when the heat and humidity have been removed is cooler air.
For the air conditioning system to work correctly and be ready for the hot weather to come, the system needs to be free from leaks, have good air flow around the condenser, and the climate control system functioning properly. A/C systems are resistant to leaks and contamination, but they are not leak-proof. Over time, contamination can affect the performance or leaks can appear which affect the performance of your vehicle's A/C system.
The most common cause of poor cooling is when the refrigerant leaks out through O-rings, loose fittings and connections. To make sure all the components of your A/C system work properly, we recommend having your vehicle's A/C system checked before it gets hot outside to avoid the rush that comes with hot weather.
